We will guide the patient in the selection of the most appropriate doctor or medical team and hospital specializing in their disorder if you have not already chosen one.
We will forward the translated patient’s medical history to the selected specialist doctor.
If, upon examining the medical file, the doctor decides that the patient should be immediately admitted to the hospital, we arrange all necessary procedures to facilitate admission, and inform the patient of the approximate cost and expected duration of treatment in order to provide them to the Cyprus High Commission along with the other documents required.
If the patient gains the approval of the Cyprus High Commission, we arrange to confirm the admission and all the necessary preparation to facilitate admission in the hospital.
The ministry of health of Cyprus usually covers part of the treatment. This depends on the financial status of each patient.
After the approval, the related embassy of Cyprus in the country of acceptance will provide a letter of guarantee for the amount that the Ministry of Health has approved in accordance to the approximate treatment cost.
The patient will pay the difference before his admission to the hospital or to our company. If he deposits to our company, we will then provide the hospital with our letter of guarantee concerning this amount.
After the end of the treatment we provide the hospital invoices and the doctors’ fees to the Embassy of Cyprus in order to settle its liability towards the hospital to the hospital’s account directly.
